Studio:
My place of work, inspiration and sanctuary is a pea green chalet nestling on the hillside in my slowly evolving garden.
Location:
The Island of Jersey on the Eastern most side directly overlooking the port of Gorey and imposing Mont Orgeuil Castle.
Work:
I use all mediums with oils as a current favourite and I enjoy exploring and experimenting with all manner of materials and subjects. The Jersey Cow features prominently but all creatures and wildlife inspire me along with local characters, land and seascapes – the only way to satisfy a butterfly mind.
Experience:
Trained in interior design. Painted and designed for 35 years, taken part in numerous exhibitions and also held several 2 man shows. Worked for charities and to commission for many years. Have taught art at adult education level for the last 5 years as well as held private workshops at home and for various local institutions.
Loves & Passions:
Painting, sketching, gardening, caring for the environment and all its creatures, family and friends, the beach and sea in all its states, shopping (not in the supermarket!), black labradors, red wine and dark chocolate.
